Getting started
Send a message or call. We talk through what the business does and what the site has to achieve, then you get a written scope and a fixed quote. Nothing is charged before you agree to that quote.
No. The first call and the quote that follows are free, and there is no obligation attached to either.
Copy, images, logins for anything that already exists, and timely approvals. Late material is the single biggest cause of a project running over, so we agree the timeline together up front.
Yes. We are based in Melbourne and most of our clients are in Victoria, but the work is remote and we take on clients anywhere in Australia.
Pricing
It depends on how many pages you need and how much is custom built rather than configured. We do not publish prices because a made-up range helps nobody. You get a fixed written number before anything starts.
Quotes to consumers show the total price including GST. Quotes to businesses may be shown excluding GST, in which case it is identified separately on the tax invoice.
Usually, and it is set out in your quote. A deposit covers work already performed rather than holding a place in a queue.
We re-quote the change and get your agreement in writing before continuing. You will not find extra work on an invoice you have not seen.
Websites
WordPress if you want to edit content yourself and the requirements are conventional. Custom if the site has to do something specific that a plugin would only half solve. We will tell you which one your project actually needs.
Often, yes. Sometimes a redesign costs less than repairing what is there. We will say honestly which applies, including when the answer is that your current site is fine.
On a WordPress build, yes, and we show you how. On a custom build it depends on what you want to change, and we scope that in from the start rather than bolting it on later.
You own it. Maintenance is available on an ongoing plan with no lock-in, or you can take it from there yourself.
SEO
No, and anyone who does should not be believed. Rankings depend on competition, your site's history and Google's own algorithm, none of which any agency controls. What we can do is the work that gives good content its best chance, and report honestly on what changes.
Longer than most people hope. It is sustained work rather than a switch, which is why SEO is billed with a minimum initial engagement — that is set out clearly before you commit.
SEO services is the broad program. Local SEO is about being found by nearby customers through Google Business Profile and the map pack. Technical SEO is the mechanics — crawling, speed, structured data. Most businesses need one or two of the three, not all.
